Politecnico di Torino was established in 1859 and holds the distinction of being the first Italian engineering school. It stands as one of the leading European technical universities, boasting a student body of nearly 40,000 and a teaching faculty comprising over 1,000 professionals dedicated to education and research. Three departments of Politecnico are actively involved in the QUBIP project:
